About Us

The goal of the Fremont County Community Foundation grant program is to improve the quality of life in Fremont County by supporting needs that are not being met in the areas of civic, cultural, health, education and social service.

The Fremont County Community Foundation was formed in 1998 as an affiliate of the Omaha Community Foundation. The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that our county’s charitable programs were supported now - and in the future. We work together with many individuals, families, business, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.

The Fremont County Community Foundation is governed by a local advisory board that is active in our local communities. Members of our advisory board are: Kristin Blackburn, Kent Claiborne, Christopher J. Johnson, EA,  Jon H. Johnson, Esq., Steve Lorimor, Grant Schaaf.
