Dr. Jacque Young, OD, Chair of the Mills County Community Foundation, announced today that the board has established a September 1, 2010 grant deadline for the $49,700 available for Mills County nonprofit organizations. Application procedures and grant guidelines can be obtained online by clicking on the top link in the sidebar at the right side of this page.    Contact any board member for additional information. This year the grant application must be emailed as a word document attachment to grants@omahafoundation.org no earlier than August 15, 2010 with a final deadline of September 1, 2010. Previous versions of the application form will not be accepted.  A second complete application must be delivered or mailed to: Dr. Jacque Young, OD, Young Vision Care, P. O. Box 188 Glenwood, IA 51534 by priority mail with delivery confirmation (total cost $5.65).
