About Us

The goal of the Montgomery County Endowment Fund is to improve the quality of life in Montgomery County by supporting needs that are not being met in the areas of civic, cultural, health, education and social service.

The Montgomery County Endowment Fund was formed in 1997 as an affiliate of the Omaha Community Foundation. The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that our county’s charitable programs were supported now - and in the future. We work together with many individuals, families, business, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.

The Montgomery County Endowment Fund is governed by a local advisory board that is active in our local communities. Members of our advisory board are:

Scott Sunderman, Chair James D. Sifford
Mark D. Swanson, Esq., Vice Chair Jim Braden, CPA
Nancy Nelson, Secretary/Treasurer Kevin Cabbage
Dennis D. Bloom, Esq. Sherry Carrick, CPA
Jo Josephson
