About Us
The mission of the Clay County Community Foundation is to connect donors who care with causes that matter and to serve as a trusted resource for addressing issues that impact the quality of life in Clay County.
The Clay County Community Foundation was formed in 2005 as an affiliate of the Siouxland Community Foundation. The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that the charitable programs in our county were supported now- and in the future. We work together with many individuals, families, business, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.
The Clay County Community Foundation is governed by a local board of directors who are active in our county. Members of our board of directors are:
Ann Lohman (Spencer, IA), President Connie Goeken (Everly, IA), Secretary John Zulk (Spencer, IA), Treasurer Baxter Ankerstjerne (Peterson, IA) Jane Goeken (Spencer, IA) Bruce Hansen (Webb, IA) Anna Harmon (Everly, IA) David Jacobsen (Spencer, IA) David Rayner (Royal, IA) Kevin Robinson (Spencer, IA) Dan Skelton (Sioux Rapids) Marlin Voss (Fostoria, IA)
