The Hawarden Community Foundation is here to help our community’s charitable projects and programs contribute to the quality of life in our area. One of the ways that is done is through grantmaking. The Hawarden Community Foundation currently has one granting cycle each year - application deadline is April 15.
The Hawarden Community Foundation accepts grant applications from charitable projects and programs impacting a wide range of needs in the community- arts and culture, health, human services, community betterment, historic preservation, etc.
Organizations interested in applying for grants from the Hawarden Community Foundation are invited to download the following information: grant cover sheet, grant application, grant guidelines, fiscal sponsorship form, and list of 2006 grant awards. Please see below for these forms.
Organizations that receive grant awards from the Hawarden Community Foundation are required to sign a Grant Recipient Agreement, submit a Grant Payment Request Form when grantee can demonstrate the need to make project expenditures as outlined within the budget section of the proposal, and submit a Final Grant Expenditure Report. Grantees are encouraged to also submit photos featuring the accomplishments and activities made possible by the grant. Please see below for these forms.
