Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Allamakee County by:
- Increasing charitable giving by encouraging people to give back to their home towns.
- Establishing permanent community endowments and protecting and growing them through prudent investment and effective stewardship.
- Identifying needs and priorities in Allamakee County and providing financial support to address them.
- Serving as a leader that identifies challenges and opportunities, and brings people together to work for the achievement of common goals.
The Allamakee County Community Foundation (ACCF) was formed in 2005 as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque. The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that our communities charitable programs were supported now- and in the future. We work together with many individuals, families, business, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.
The Allamakee County Community Foundation is governed by a local board of directors who are active in our local communities. Members of our board of directors are:
