About Us
Our mission is to preserve and improve the quality of life in West Des Moines by engaging others in philanthropic support and services.
The West Des Moines Community Enrichment Foundation was formed in 2007 as an affiliate of the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation. The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that West Des Moines’ charitable programs were supported now- and in the future. We work together with individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.
The West Des Moines Community Enrichment Foundation is governed by a local board of directors who are active philanthropic individuals with deep roots in the community. Members of our governing board of directors are:
