The Greater Madison County Community Foundation is here to help our county’s charitable projects and programs contribute to the quality of life in our area. One of the ways that is done is through grant-making. The Greater Madison County Community Foundation currently has one granting cycle each year. For 2008, the applications will be available at 14 designated sites around the county beginning January 7, 2008 with the deadline of completion of Friday, February 22, 2008.
The following locations will have grant applications available:
City Halls in: Bevington Earlham East Peru Macksburg Patterson St. Charles Truro Winterset |
School District Offices in: Earlham I-35 (Truro) Winterset
And these locations: Madison County Auditor’s Office – Courthouse The St. Charles Welcome Center The Madison County Chamber and Development Office - Winterset | The Greater Madison County Community Foundation accepts grant applications from charitable projects and programs impacting a wide range of needs in the community- arts and culture, health, human services, community betterment, historic preservation, etc.
Grant recipients must be either a 501 (c) (3) or a 170 (b) organization, or have an organization willing to serve as fiscal agent who is either of the aforementioned organizations.
