McCurdy Scholar Announced!

The Cass County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the 2010 McCurdy scholar has been selected. 

The Dustin McCurdy Endowed Scholarship provides one scholarship of $500 to a high school senior from Cumberland Anita Massena High School.  This year’s scholar is Jaxson Armstrong.
 
Board members of the Cass County Community Foundation are: Chair, Nicholas Hunt of rural Atlantic; Vice Chair, Gary Maas of Anita; Secretary/Treasurer, Roland K. Landsness, Esq. of Atlantic; Royal Bierbaum of rural Griswold; Beulah Follmann of Massena; and Mark D. Kyhnn, CPA of Atlantic.

Dustin McCurdy Memorial Scholarship
The Dustin McCurdy Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who attend the Cumberland Anita Massena school district may apply.  Only students who are enrolled in a two or four year degreed or certified program may apply.  Graduates of these programs receive certificates, diplomas, or Associate in Applied Science degrees.  The criterion for a McCurdy Scholar gives preference to a student with a successful high school academic career along with demonstrated extra-curricular school activities and/or community service volunteerism.
