Our Mission: The Clive Community Foundation's mission is to establish and grow an endowment to support and promote programs which will maintain and enhance the quality of life in our community.
The Clive Community Foundation was formed in 2007 as an affiliate of the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation. Clive Community Foundation is a nonprofit, community corporation created by and for the people of Clive. The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that Clive’s charitable programs were supported now - and in the future.
As a tax-exempt public charity, we enable people with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support the issues, services, and facilities that they care about. This support can be immediate, or through bequest, by creating a charitable fund within the Foundation for the contribution of a variety of assets. We work together with individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.
As a community foundation, we have the ability to provide a simple, powerful, and highly personal approach to giving. We offer a variety of giving tools to help you achieve your charitable goals. Gifts of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, or other assets can be made and most qualify for maximum tax advantage under federal law.
The Clive Community Enrichment Foundation is governed by a local board of directors who are active philanthropic individuals with deep roots in the community. Members of our governing board of directors are:
Matt Richmond – President Jim Daniel – Vice President Maryjo Welch – Treasurer Fred Anderson – Secretary Susan Chambers – Director of Donor Relations |
Francis Donnelly – Director Brian Kelly – Director Kevin Olsen – Director Jackie Seymour – Director Stuart Sorrel - Director |
