Cass County Endowment Fund

The Cass County Endowment Fund is a community foundation for Cass County. It was established in 1998 and is affiliated with the Omaha Community Foundation. This relationship eliminates the need for each of nine affiliates in Southwest Iowa to maintain a separate IRS tax status. Collectively, they are known as the Endowment Funds of Southwest Iowa. It allows Cass County to benefit from the Omaha Community Foundation’s staff and expertise.

The Cass County Endowment Fund is managed by a local advisory board listed on our About Us page. The funds contributed are used to assist programs that support historical, cultural, environmental, educational and recreational objectives within the county. Cass County nonprofit organizations can also use the fund as a source of long-term financial assistance.

For Good. For Iowa. For Ever.
