Grant Information
The is here to help our community’s charitable projects and programs contribute to the quality of life in our area. One of the ways that is done is through grantmaking. The Dallas County Foundation currently has one grantmaking cycle each year.
The Dallas County Foundation accepts grant applications from charitable projects and programs impacting a wide range of needs in the community- arts and culture, health, human services, community betterment, historic preservation, etc. For more information, please contact us.
2007 Grant Awards
Eleven projects received funding in 2007 for a total of $50,000:
· Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce: $7,500
Community stage and pavilion
· Perry Community Schools: $5,500
Athletic fields/soccer fields
· City of Dexter: $5,500
Cabinets for the Historic Community House
· Granger Fire Department: $5,000
Communication pagers
· Adel Fire Department: $5,000
Jaws of Life tools
· Van Meter Recreation Foundation: $5,000
ADA restroom facilities
· City of Bouton: $4,000
Softball complex restroom facilities
· De Soto Public Library: $3,300

· Dallas County Care Facility, Inc.: $3,000

Six projects received funding in 2006 for a total of $42,500:
