About Us

The mission of the Warren County Philanthropic Partnership is to foster private giving, strengthen service providers and improve the quality of life throughout the county.  To these ends, it will promote endowment building, build community foundation awareness, engage in grantmaking, facilitate organizational collaboration, and provide public leadership for the benefit of the current and future citizens of Warren County.

The Warren County Philanthropic Partnership was formed in April 2005 as an affiliate of the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation.  The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that our communities’ charitable programs were supported now- and in the future.  We work together with many individuals, families, business, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.

The Warren County Philanthropic Partnership is governed by a local board of directors who are active in our local communities.  Members of our board of directors are: Staci Appel, Chris Boone, Bobbie Burnett, Annette Campbell, Pat Conley, Terry Engelken, Melinda Huisinga, Marion Ostrander, Al Powers, Elizabeth Mineart, Jill Rissiter,  and Neil Ruddy.
