
The Calhoun County Community Foundation is here to help our community’s charitable projects and programs contribute to the quality of life in our area. One of the ways that is done is through grantmaking. The Calhoun County Community Foundation currently has one granting cycle each year- Applications are due Friday, February 9, 2007. Grant recipients will be announced by Monday, April 2, 2007.
The Calhoun County Community Foundation accepts grant applications from charitable projects and programs impacting a wide range of needs in the community- arts and culture, community betterment, education, health & human services, recreation & environment, and youth development.
Funding will not be awarded to the following: Private individuals or private businesses without an association to a community organization. Funding will not be awarded for any of the following purposes: staffing, projects with a religious emphasis, operational subsidies, debt or other types of organizational distress.
Organizations interested in applying for grants from the Calhoun County Community Foundation will be able to download the grant application information from this page shortly.
Organizations that receive grant awards from the Calhoun County Community Foundation are required to complete a report. All grant recipients must display visible recognition to the Calhoun County Community Foundation via a plaque, notation (on signs), or on program brochures.
