The Mahaska County Community Foundation is here to help our community’s charitable projects and programs contribute to the quality of life in our area. One of the ways that is done is through grantmaking.
The Mahaska County Community Foundation currently has one granting cycle each year- Applications due May 9, 2008.
The Mahaska County Community Foundation accepts grant applications from charitable projects and programs impacting a wide range of needs in the community- arts and culture, health, human services, community betterment, historic preservation, etc. The Mahaska County Community Foundation will generally deny requests for crisis intervention, current budget support, elimination of deficits, reduction of debt, or funding of completed projects.
Organizations interested in applying for grants from the Mahaska County Community Foundation are invited to download the grant application below.
Organizations that receive grant awards from the Mahaska County Community Foundation are required to sign a grant agreement form and provide grant reports 6 months and upon project completion. The form can be downloaded below.
