About Us

The mission of the Fayette County Community Foundation is to serve Fayette County by coordinating and providing permanent resources to enhance arts and culture, health, human services, education, and community betterment.

The Fayette County Community Foundation was formed in 2005 as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Waterloo/Cedar Falls and Northeast Iowa.  The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that our communities’ charitable programs were supported now- and in the future.  We work together with many individuals, families, business, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.

The Fayette County Community Foundation is governed by a local governing body who are active in our local communities.  Members of our governing body are: Connie Smith- Chair, Mike Kennedy-Vice Chair, Sally Falb- Secretary, Tobin Britt, Christie Dennis, Scott Jans, Sara Strong, Brent Ungerer, Jenean Neidert, and Ron Van Veldheizen.
