About Us
The Community Foundation of Lyon County

Mission: The mission of the Community Foundation of Lyon County is to enhance the overall quality of life in the county for by providing opportunities for donors to leave a legacy, by building a permanent collection of endowment funds, and by making grants in response to priority community needs.

The Community Foundation of Lyon was formed in 2005 as an affiliate of the Siouxland Community Foundation The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that charitable programs in our county were supported now and in the future. We work together with many individuals, families, business, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.

The Community Foundation of Lyon is governed by a local advisory board who are active in our county.
